Photos, quotes and anything else I find remotely entertaining during my exploring.

Including lunch.

Which is where you should investigate my blog.

Remember about a week ago when I tried to rip my fingernail off?
Emily wanted me to photograph the damage and me, being a total girl…didn’t.
But, here it is, looking so much better! (as do I-smiling does a girl wonders, doesn’t it?)

This is part of the old walled city that made up Londonderry (or just Derry, depending on what you choose to call it).
You all, unknowingly, have heard of Derry. It’s the city Bono sings about in “Sunday Bloody Sunday”. In a nutshell, the English airdropped in and killed a bunch of people (17 is what sticks in my head) during a football (soccer) match.

This is another view, it’s really kind of impressive.
County Antrim is in the North, and perhaps I forgot that they wouldn’t be on the Euro. So once I changed over to pounds and went about my business, it was a great day trip.
If I remember the story right, apparently on a clear day you can see Scotland from the Causeway. And in turn, you can see the Scottish flipping the bird to everyone on the Irish side (it’s only a few miles apart)
I didn’t see that, sadly.

One of those lovely Georgian doors. I love all the colors.

Because it’s true-there is beer.
And then? There’s Guinness

A view from the Guinness Storehouse, one of the best views in Dublin (if you ask me)

You’ll be getting photos of Ireland all day, from my days there (oh so long ago)
